Niagara Girls Trip!

This past weekend, I attended a girls trip for one of my very best friends’ bachelorette party. We had such an incredible time experiencing the most girly getaway in Niagara Falls.  I wanted to create a post to encourage this type of trip and to share my three favourite things about this  girls’ getaway!

1. Hanging out together and being such girls. I love to get glammed up, plan outfits and help each other get the right look for any occasion. This past weekend we stayed in a beautiful six-bedroom house outside of Niagra Falls. This was one of the nicest Air Bnb stays I have ever been to and was so perfect for a girls’ trip. We enjoyed this house because it was spread among three floors which was so spacious for entertaining and gathering to celebrate.

2. Wineries in the Niagara region are something you must have on your bucket list. The creation of our wine tour for this bachelorette, allowed us to relax with the luxury of a bus, taking us to and from three wineries that were all uniquely different and boasted beauty for any wine lover. My favourite stop was Chateau des Charmes  because of its stunning landscape and luxurious building. We also visited Between the Lines Winery and Caroline Cellars which were both informative and delightful, offering true quality wine tastings.

3. A night out on the town was a must and we celebrated at Big Texas! This bar exceeded all of our expectations. The atmosphere was so captivating and the band playing, introduced us to Paige Rutledge. I am now proud to say, I am her absolute biggest fan! I am so ecstatic we were able to meet her after her show. I was blown away at her music, her voice and the performance she put on for this bar. She is so interactive and kind to her crowd, she seemed so grateful for the love we gave her, singing to all of her music with her. This night was entertaining and felt like we were at a massive country concert. This was one of the highlights of my summer. I love dancing to country music with girlfriends and I now love Paige Rutledge!

Girl time is so good for the soul, my stomach hurt from having one on one time with my sister and laughing continuously together. The girls that we stayed with were such a blast and all looking to have the best weekend away getting so dressed up, feeling fabulous and letting loose.

This weekend celebration for my favourite bride-to-be was incredible and could not have been more women influencing. I feel grateful to know so many sweet girlfriends, so glamorous to be able to experience the Niagra scenery and fine wine, and so exhilarated singing our hearts out to a women empowering singer like Paige Rutledge!  I encourage any mom debating on a getaway like this to go for it. I missed my baby like crazy but feel so uplifted after this wonderful girls trip opportunity!
